Monthly Cam Site Audit Checklist
A monthly audit should answer whether an account still deserves your money, data and attention. Review one platform at a time using its account history and settings. Do not turn the audit into another shopping session.
Monthly account checklist
- Billing: Match purchases, subscriptions and refunds to payment statements. Note pending transactions separately from settled charges. Investigate any renewal or duplicate charge you cannot explain.
- Balance: Record unused credits and any stated expiry. Identify purchases made to obtain a bonus that you never used. Do not buy more merely to make old spending feel worthwhile.
- Access: Check recovery email, available two-factor authentication, signed-in devices and unfamiliar sessions. Replace a reused password rather than just modifying its final character.
- Permissions: Review camera, microphone, notifications and location access in the browser. Revoke permissions no longer needed. Check the device as well as the account.
- Privacy: Review public profile details, messages, favorites visibility and marketing preferences. Remove identifying details you do not need to share.
- Usefulness: Compare your planned budget and time with what actually happened. Keep specific notes, such as an unclear exit control, instead of inventing a numerical quality score.
Make one decision per account
Choose keep, pause or close. Keep an account when its purpose is clear and its costs are understood. Pause purchases while a billing issue remains unresolved. Before closing, save receipts, check cancellation steps and read the platform's treatment of unused balances and deletion requests; closing an account should not be assumed to cancel every external recurring payment.
Chrome's permission guidance explains where camera and microphone exceptions can be reviewed and removed. Other browsers use different menus.

This is a suggested maintenance routine, not a certification of a site's security or value. Keep the record somewhere private rather than in a shared spreadsheet.
