Cam Site Token Pricing Explained: Compare the Actual Cost
Tokens and credits are platform accounting units, not a common currency. The number beside a room rate cannot be compared across sites until you know what those units cost you. No current package prices or exchange rates are verified here.
Use the checkout total
The basic formula is: effective cost per usable unit = final package cost divided by units usable for your intended activity. Use the checkout currency and include displayed mandatory fees. If your card uses another currency, record the issuer's final amount later; do not silently treat an estimated conversion as the settled cost.
- Copy the package's total price and paid units.
- List bonus units separately. Include them only if you qualify and they work for the room or mode you intend to use before expiry.
- Divide the total by usable units. Keep enough decimal precision for your own comparison.
- For a timed mode, multiply unit cost by units charged per minute. Then account for minimum duration, billing increments, and optional extras.
Distinguish session cost from purchase cost
Estimated session cost describes the units consumed. Purchase cost is the money you must pay for a package. If the smallest suitable package exceeds your planned session spend, the leftover balance remains tied to that platform unless its terms say otherwise.
A lower unit price is not automatically better value. Buying more than you expect to use can increase total spending. Never assume a viewer can redeem unused units for cash or transfer them between sites.
